Please find the spelling lists below. The spelling test will be on Friday each week.

We will have a spelling lesson every week, focusing on phonic rules and multi-sensory strategies for learning our spellings and the associated rules. We are also currently continuing to have short daily phonics lessons.

Great strategies for learning spellings at home:

• Look, cover, write, check
• Mnemonics (e.g. Big Elephants Can Always Understand Small Elephants)
• Spelling games (e.g. Dicey Spellings – we will learn this and others in school)
• Mini word searches
• Physical letters which can be arranged into words

Little and often is always the best way to commit spellings to long term memory.
