On Monday, a team of enthusiastic Year 5 children and their very enthusiastic coach, Mr. Grattan, attended the North Bristol Basketball Tournament!

After many weeks of training in Mr. Grattan’s after school basketball club, the children were determined to show off their new skills – and they did not disappoint! The team progressed through the rounds with ease, beating Blaise School in the semi finals to make the final against a strong Year 6 team from St Bonaventure’s.

The Bishop Road team had to settle for second place but came away with an invitation to represent North Bristol in a following tournament later this term. What an achievement! Well done to Coach Grattan and the team!
