A group of 30 Year 5 children took part in the NW24 Sports Day on Thursday 27th June at Bishop Road School Playing Fields. Children from 10 different schools were put into mixed teams and were given the opportunity to try out a range of different sports. There was fencing, kick boxing, golf, tug of war and yoga to name a few! Lot’s of children tried a new sport for the first time and it was a chance to meet and compete with other children from different schools. The sun was shining and it was a wonderful day for all involved. A special mention to one of our groups who won the trophy for the fastest time through the inflatable obstacle race. Fantastic effort!
