Year 4 blew us away yesterday with their competitive verve.. every child was poised and ready to win the day.

Starting with hurdles closely followed by the sack race, classes cheered their teammates along at the top of their voices, but giving a helping hand, when their teams mates needed it.

The sack race was followed by the skipping race, then the egg and spoon..so concentration and control were key…

Speeding up once more, the sprint and full-class relay race followed…

It was neck and neck until the very last moments, when 4D pipped their components to the post.

Congratulations to the whole of Year 4, for whilst their original Sports Day was postponed due to inclement weather before Half Term, they brought their best spirit and sportsmanship to the pitch, on the day!

And Finally, a massive “Thank You” to Miss Williams and Mr. Barr for organising, comparing and scoring all Sports Days this year. And to celebrate the very last Sports Day of 2021, Mr. Barr went out of his way, looking most resplendent in a rather fetching fluo shell suit with shades – quite dazzling Mr. Barr!
