This week, Year 2 had a visit from royalty when they took part in a workshop all about knights and castles. The children learnt about the properties of different types of castles and the famous monarchs who resided in them. Excitingly, pupils also got to dress-up as knights on horseback and had a go at jousting (running at their teachers with swords!).
