We are pleased to announce that Bishop Road has subscribed to The Happy Newspaper and will be sharing copies to all Year 5 and 6 classes, and in the library for all to enjoy.

The Happy Newspaper is a 32-page, full colour broadsheet designed by Emily Coxhead, with articles and interviews celebrating positive news stories from around the world.

Some of the articles discuss current affairs such as ‘First Covid-19 Vaccines Administers’ and ‘Kamala Harris Makes History’ to more light-hearted stories covering topics like ‘Four-Year-Old Finds Dinosaur Footprint’ and ‘Goats on Zoom Calls Make £50k’!  

We hope that the children will enjoy this regular reminder, that even after the challenging past year, there is still so much good to celebrate in the world!
