This term, Year 5 have been quantity surveyors in our architecture project; designing the tallest lego skyscrapers possible using as few bricks as possible, in the least amount of time in order to make the most amount of profit. They also learnt about earthquake proof buildings, designing their own using pasta and their understanding of shapes that are inherently strong to withstand an earthquake.
