Reception have been learning all about different celebrations and festivals this term.

We built on our knowledge about Harvest (where we got the make some tasty bread rolls)

and bonfire night (where we made our own junk-modelling rockets) and found out more about Diwali, an important religious festival of light. We made our own beautiful rangoli patterns with coloured rice, designed henna patterns for our hands and even made diva lamps out of clay.
