Last week, Year 4 took part in a Christianity workshop about the Holy Trinity. Children explored the three parts of the trinity and made objects to symbolize each one; a heart to show God is the father, a mirror to represent God as the son and string to represent God the Holy Spirit. Next, they discussed what makes a good father and ranked different qualities a father may show. Children also watched some interesting videos about Palm Sunday and Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and what that means to Christians.
