This week, Year 3 were treated to an unforgettable workshop on rail safety and travelling in time. The classes learned just how long it takes for a train to stop when travelling at full speed, how to conduct yourself when you are at a station, and the things to look out for that might harm you. Afterwards, in solid preparation for our whole-school Inventors and Inventions topic, we learned all about travel and the inventions that have shaped this sector. From the oldest discovered form of travel to the new technology of Tesla, we went on a whistle stop tour of Travel Through Time delivered by the wonderful Platform.
