This week we are celebrating Maths Week England with a range of exciting maths related activities and workshops throughout the week. On Tuesday we had a maths picture book lesson where we were inspired by the story ‘One Hundred Ants’ which taught us all about arrays. Today, we took part in a countrywide maths workshop where 90+ schools joined via zoom to learn about tesalating shapes. We created our own pieces of art using a shape of our making and then decorated them to make them stand out!
On Thursday, we took part in an art and maths lesson where we made arrays of animals using printing. We chose an animal outline, printed with polystyrene and paint and then made an array of that animal!
