Year 6 Camp

After two days of rain the weather has finally cleared! We arrived slightly late on Monday however were
able to undertake the activities as normal - the rain did not dampen the children's enthusiasm! Due to
the inclement weather, we were unable to undertake the evening walk however the children enjoyed
playing a variety of games on site and familiarised themselves with the climbing frame. After a hot
chocolate and a celebration of Lawrence's birthday, it was lights out and everyone (well most) settled
and went to sleep.

Tuesday morning - rain, rain, rain! All the activities continued as normal and the assault course was
particularly wet and muddy. The afternoon was spent visiting the seaside town of Tenby. In the evening
we braved the wind and rain and walked down to the beach where the children had a great time
exploring the rock pools and playing on the sand. Yesterday, we had a full day of activities and
eventually the rain stopped - hurrah! It was Will's birthday and as with Lawrence's, we celebrated with
balloons, candles and cake! In the evening we ventured down to Pendine Sands and everyone enjoyed
an ice cream. It's now Thursday morning. It's Ellie's birthday today and we are all looking forward to
this evening's disco - better start practising some dance moves!
