Yesterday Year 6 travelled up to London to visit the Houses of Parliament. They started the day with a tour around some of the sights around London, seeing Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Parliament Square. Afterwards they enjoyed lunch at Embankment Gardens, overlooking the Thames. After lunch they had the chance to watch some debates in the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The day finished up with an elections workshop which the children got stuck into. It was a long and action-packed day for everyone, we hope you had fun Year 6!
